Balima Cafe in Saifi Village

Continuing in our pursuit for all things French, Hala and I decided to stop for a well needed Cafe Latte at Balima Cafe in Saifi Village.  The magnetic allure of Balima is that it’s situated in the middle of Downtown but you would never know it with the calm atmosphere, greenery and beautifully decorated buildings of Saifi Village surrounding you.

The menu is simple consisting of salads, sandwiches, quiches and desserts.  My favorite item on the menu is the Croque Monsieur which is accompanied by a special house salad.   The prices are very reasonable ranging from 10,000LL to 15,000LL for sandwiches.   WIFI internet is free and is quite often used by many people who visit the cafe.

It’s a perfect location for an afternoon coffee or tea with an impressive tea selection including Fleur de The and a variety of French teas in vibrantly colored canisters.

No need for reservation, just stop in whenever in the area.
